Iran’s ‘calculated response’

A military parade has been held in the Iranian capital Tehran to mark National Army Day. Various divisions of the Army attended the event. Also, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and the military top brass were in attendance. Iran’s defense achievements and advanced military equipment were put on display during the parade.

Iran retaliation hailed

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Israel is seeking to spark a regional conflict slamming the regime’s attack on Iran’s embassy in Damascus as a violation of international law. Erdogan also slammed Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide and said the only way to ease tensions in the region is to stop the war.

Gaza genocide

There are more deaths and destruction in Gaza where the Israeli regime continues its intense attacks against civilians. At least 13 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. They are among 56 people killed in the past 24 hours. The total death toll from the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza now stands at nearly 33,900. Most of the victims are women and children. The Gaza health system has almost collapsed as hospitals are a main target of the attacks. Meanwhile, almost the entire population of Gaza are struggling to get access to food amid Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.
