US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli military has launched new aerial and ground attacks on Gaza as the death toll from the nearly six months of onslaught on the besieged strip keeps climbing. Israeli warplanes have once again targeted the central city of Deir al-Balah as well as Rafah in the south. Civil defense crew and paramedics are struggling to recover the wounded from bombed-out buildings due to a lack of equipment. Heavy fighting is also underway in the vicinity of al-Shifa Hospital, located in Gaza City. The war on Gaza that started in early October has, so far, left more than 32,600 Palestinians dead, mostly women and children. Israeli attacks on Gaza have also wounded more than 75,000 people. The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said in a recent report that 70 percent of homes in Gaza are uninhabitable now.

Israel West Bank raid

Israeli forces have carried out fresh raids across the occupied West Bank overnight, leaving a teenager dead and several other young Palestinians injured. The victim, identified as 13-year-old Moatsem Nabil Abu Abed, was hit by Israeli gunfire during a military incursion into Qabatiya town, near the city of Jenin. Two others were injured in the same raid, with one being reported in serious condition. Clashes also broke out after Palestinian youths resisted the Israeli raids on the cities of Qalqilya and Ariha. There were similar clashes in the town of Beit Amer, where a 13-year-old child was injured by bullet shrapnel and dozens of others suffered tear gas inhalation. Palestinians in the occupied territories have endured violent Israeli raids almost on a daily basis since the onset of the regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

Pro-Palestine protest

Thousands of Jordanians have marched to the Israeli embassy in the capital Amman for the sixth consecutive night in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The protesters slammed the Israeli crimes, especially the attacks on hospitals. They waved Palestinian and Jordanian flags and called for an end to Jordan’s unpopular peace treaty with Israel. They also urged the government to expel the Israeli ambassador from Amman. Demonstrators voiced their support for Palestinian resistance groups and the people in the Gaza Strip.
