Even though officials in Kabul have been busy with the ongoing peace talks with the Taliban, they seem not to have forgotten about other issues in the country, such as the economy.
That is why the Afghan government has attended this joint exhibition with Iran in the capital, Kabul.
A group of 150 Iranian traders, government officials, and representatives of parliament have traveled to Kabul to attend the biggest joint Afghan-Iran exhibition. Seventy Iranian companies have participated in the event. They see this exhibition as an opportunity to boost the relations between their countries.
Afghan officials say such exhibitions would prompt Afghan businesses to gain more economic independence using methods practiced by the Iranians.
Besides the 70 Iranian companies, 30 Afghan companies have also attended this 3-day joint exhibition.
