NBA: Miami Heat 112-106 Boston Celtics

Over basketball news, the Miami Heat have posted their 2nd win since the NBA restart, defeating the Boston Celtics 112 to 106 at Lake Buena Vista.

Miami got off to a good start to take the 1st quarter 33 to 28 and made it a 12-point advantage before heading to the locker rooms. Boston put some pressure on after the break, cutting their deficit to 8 points after 3 quarters of play.

The Celtics claimed the 4th quarter with a 2-point margin, but it was not enough to avoid the defeat. Miami were led by Bam Adebayo who had 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Jayson Tatum scored 23 for the Celtics.

Both teams have already clinched the playoffs, with Boston currently sitting 3rd and Miami in 4th in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers led the Orlando Magic wire-to-wire in a 120 to 109 victory. The Pacers displayed an impressive performance on Tuesday, leading Orlando by as many as 23 points in the first quarter and were up at 71 to 50 by the end of the 2nd frame.

The Magic cut into the lead in the 2nd half, trimming Indiana’s advantage to 16 points before taking the final quarter 33 to 28 in the losing effort. With the win, Indiana extended their lead over Philadelphia for the Number 5 seed to 1.5 games, while the Magic slipped from the East's number 7 to number 8 spot.
