Third edition of Caspian, CTO Meetings underway in Mashhad

The city of Mashhad is hosting the third edition of Caspian and CTO meetings and 18 countries are attending this year’s medical event.
The annual event in Razavi Hospital is one of the largest of its kind in health tourism in the Middle East. It presents the latest research and development in pediatrics and cardiology. Medical experts from Asia, Europe and the Middle East are giving 200 lectures during the three-day gathering.
The annual event also aims to promote health tourism in Mashhad. According to statistics, most of the city’s health tourists are from the Persian Gulf countries. They receive organ transplants and various surgeries in Razavi Hospital.
Representatives and high-ranking officials from more than 20 countries are expected to attend next year’s event. The third edition of Caspian and CTO meetings will wrap up on Friday.
