One day after Hezbollah’s anticipated retaliation operation against Israel’s military, the resistance group aired footage of the rocket attack on one of the Israeli vehicles several kilometers behind the technical fence:
The footage shows that the distance of the target from the border fence is one kilometer, and is 4 kilometers away from the point of launching the rocket. The video also flatly contradicts Israel's claim that the attack did not inflict any damage to its military equipment or personnel.
In a speech after the broadcast of the footage, Hezbollah’s secretary General warned the Israelis that Hezbollah has nullified Tel Aviv’s red lines:
After over one week since the Israelis launched a failed drone attack in the Beirut’s suburbs, Hezbollah’s response came sooner than expected.
Observers believe the struggle between Lebanon and Israel has entered a new phase:
Nasrallah warned Israeli that if it does launch a new attack, the response will not be inside Lebanese occupied territory, but all Israeli military facilities deep inside occupied Palestine will be targeted with modern weaponry including precision-guided missiles.
He addressed the Israeli public, saying that Netanyahu’s foolishness has led to a new field for the resistance to stop Israeli violations and that is Lebanese airspace.
Hezbollah’s footage and Sayyed Hassan Narallah’s explanation have led Israeli media to question the credibility of Israeli Prime Minister Netenyahu and call for an investigation. But one thing is certain that for the first time since 2006, Hezbollah has responded decisively and robustly deep into the occupied territory.
