The 22-year-old became the first pole to grab a tour-level crown since 'Wojciech Fibak' lifted the WCT Chicago Trophy in 1982. Hurkatch recorded 5 service breaks on his way to a 6-3, 3-6 and 6-3 victory over the Frenchman in 2 hours and 9 minutes.
He is the 14th player to become a first-time tournament winner on the ATP Tour in 2019.
