An explosion hitting a wedding ceremony in the west of Kabul has left nearly 250 people including women and children killed or injured.

Condemning the launch of attacks against civilians , locals in Afghanistan believe the enemies of their country are only after spreading violence in the society.

The Afghan President has blamed the Taliban for the deadly bomb blast in the capital Kabul. In a tweet, Ashraf Ghani denounced the attack as barbaric and said the Taliban “provide a platform for terrorists.”

This is not the first time that ceremonies come under attack . The Daesh terrorist group had launched a similar attack in eastern Nangarhar province back in July .

The tragic incident happened in Kabul while the people were preparing to host their independence anniversary from Britain but now thousands of Afghans are going to share their sadness instead of happiness during funeral ceremonies.
