Chelsea defeats Arsenal 3-2 in London derby

In the English Premier League, Chelsea have won the London derby, after defeating arch rivals Arsenal 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.

The London Blues dominated the match from the beginning, as they scored 2 goals inside 20 minutes. Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea, just 9 minutes into the match, as he converted Marcos Alonso’s cross.

Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata, doubled the lead for Chelsea in the 20th minute. However, the gunners came from behind, when Henrikh Mkhitaryan pulled a goal back, with a stunning drilled effort from the edge of the box in 37th minute.

5 minutes later, Nigerian, Alex Iwobi, leveled the match for Arsenal before halftime. Finally, Spanish defender, Marcos Alonso, scored a late winner, 9 minutes from time, to give Chelsea the full 3 points, while handing Arsenal their 2nd consecutive defeat.
