Canada: Fredericton ‘in shock’ after deadly shooting
The two police officers who were among four people killed in a shooting in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on Friday were identified as 45-year old Lawrence Robert Costello and 43-year old Sara Burns.
Police vans continued to cordon off the crime scene. . Fredericton resident Pierre Huard said that "nobody knows really what's going on. Anger started to set in now. People are getting upset and angry. And it's a shock. Everyone is in shock."
The shooting took place on Brookside drive in the northern part of the city. Fredericton police have confirmed that 48-year-old suspect is in custody and is being treated for injuries.
