Ugandan woman wrongly diagnosed with HIV grieves devastating effects

29-year-old mother of three Farida Kiconco whose liver and kidneys have been severely damaged after taking ARV’s for six years yet she is HIV negative.

Over one hundred Ugandans are reportedly suffering from severe sickness after taking anti-Retroviral drugs caused by a wrong diagnosis. A 29-year-old mother of three in western Uganda is currently fightin g the side-effects after taking the drugs for six years. Our correspondent Daniel Arapmoi visited the family and filed this report.
