Israel’s global notoriety

Israel is increasingly becoming infamous worldwide due to its abuses of the human rights of Palestinians. Israel has tried hard to justify its crackdown on Palestinians in Gaza. But an increasing number of world nations are refusing to buy the Israeli regime’s narrative of the events in the occupied Palestinian territories and an awareness regarding the root-cause of problems is spreading worldwide.  Still, Israel’s becoming increasingly emboldened by US President Donald Trump’s strong support for the regime.

Bolton vs. Mattis

In the US, tensions are rising between Defense Secretary James Mattis and President Donald Trump’s new Security Advisor, John Bolton. Mattis and Bolton have extremely different views when it comes to Syria. In March, the US and its allies launched airstrikes on Syria following a suspected chemical attack. But the scale of attack was a bone of contention within the White House. Bolton is said to have favored a full-fledged strike, but Mattis supported a more cautious approach.
