What kind of Brexit should the UK have?

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has backed the UK being in a permanent customs union with the EU in a landmark speech setting out his approach to Brexit.

The left-wing leader said this would avoid the need for a "hard border" in Northern Ireland and ensure free-flowing trade for business. The policy shift could lead to Labour siding with Tory rebels to defeat Theresa May on her Brexit strategy.
