Rocks, fire and rage as Bogota student protests turn violent

Fierce clashes broke out between student protesters and police forces in Bogota on Tuesday.

Earlier, some 500 students from the Pedagogical University of Bogota had held a large rally, reportedly attacking the headquarters of the Centro Democratico (Democratic Centre) Party.

In its turn, the Democratic Centre took to Twitter to condemn the attack on their offices, demanding security for all of its candidates.
