Israel has approved the construction of more than 1,100 settler units across the occupied West Bank. The move has been seen in response to a shooting that killed an Israeli settler on Tuesday near the city of Nablus. As our correspondent Mona Kandil reports, Israel has maintained a heavy military presence in the Nablus area and surrounding villages since the shooting.
