Iraqi teachers training to handle Mosul’s traumatized students

Iraqi teachers in the city of Mosul have taken part in a special training course to learn how to reach out to students traumatized by horrors of war.

The course teaches them how to best handle the struggling students through games, mimes and sports. Mosul was overrun by Daesh terrorists in 2014, and stayed under their rule for three years until it was fully liberated by the army in July 2017.
