Chinese firm ready to put $25,000 RoboDog on market

Chinese firm Unitree Robotics has unveiled a four-legged machine called Laikago

A super-strong robotic dog will be soon available to the public, with Chinese firm Unitree saying it was ready release the hound on the market for $25,000.

The robotic four-legged friend, called Laikago, can assimilate canine-like movements, walk on a variety of terrain and drag heavy objects. There won't be any fur to clean off your sofa either!

The CEO of Chinese firm Unitree describes Laikago as a “scientific toy" for the moment but added that the firm “will try to explore the field of practical appliance, such as security."

The RoboPup weighs 22 kilograms and is controlled by mathematic equations with AI programming languages used as a supplement.
