An Orbital ATK Cygnus capsule loaded with more than 3,355 kilograms of cargo, including new science and technology equipment, arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, successfully docking with one of the station's robotic arms.

NASA launched the Orbital ATK Antares Rocket from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on Sunday, after its originally scheduled departure was aborted a day earlier due to a small plane entering its airspace.

Among the equipment on board were a hybrid solar power panel and solar communication antenna used for sending and receiving messages across vast distances both on Earth and in space, NASA said.
