NGOs sue to stop Macron from cutting housing subsidies to poor

Many in France have been shocked by the backlash to President Emmanuel Macron's plan to cut a very small but widespread subsidy for housing. Lodging issues in the world's 5th-largest economy affect nearly 25% of the population, which may explain the support for keeping the government assistance.
