Iago Aspas has scored a hat-trick as 10-man Celta Vigo won 5-2 in Las Palmas on Monday.
Emre Mor broke the deadlock for Celta in the 16th minute with a porecise left-footed strike. Aspas made it 2-0 four minutes later when the home side’s goalie left a gap in his near post and the Spanish striker took advantage with a well-struck shot.
The 30-year-old got his second goal of the night three minutes into the second half. Pablo Hernandez grabbed a 4th in the 71st minute, before Aspas netted again five minutes later to complete his hat-trick and give the visitors a commanding 5-0 lead.
The hosts however managed to pull two goals back in injury time, but it was too little too short as Celta Vigo won the match 5-2 to grab the whole three points.
