Catalonia gears up for independence vote

Catalonia is preparing for an independence referendum on Sunday amid rising tensions with the central government in Madrid. Catalan leaders are determined to press ahead with the controversial vote despite fierce opposition from the Spanish government and an order by Catalonia’s High court of justice for the seizure of ballot boxes.
