An activist says the United States has no right to carry out military operations in Syria, adding that Washington’s airstrikes are designed to weaken the government in Damascus.

“The US, both in fact and in law, has no right to be carrying on these military operations, which are clearly designed to weaken the Syrian government and encourage separatist elements, and we have to recall that it was not very long ago that the United States assured the global community that it was committed to maintaining the territorial integrity of Syria. Yet what we are seeing now is a very different reality,” Barry Grossman told Press TV in an interview on Monday.
