Trump makes ‘hate speech’ at UN  

Many may have been waiting to hear the first speech of Donald Trump as the president of the United States at the UN General Assembly meeting. His speech was seen as more hostile than any American president in recent years. And it was his strong words on North Korea that caught the attention of the world. Trump also had some strong words against Iran and particularly the nuclear deal that the country has signed with world powers including the US, itself. 

Dubious claims as Suu Kyi comments about Rakhine crisis 

Suu Kyi had so far been an Asian icon of peace in the eyes of the world. But her deafening silence on the plight of Rohingya Muslims and her surprising evasion of criticism and accusations has baffled many. In her first reaction toward the situation in Myanmar’s Rakhine State, she tried to soothe global concerns over what the United Nations has already described as an ethnic cleansing.  But her remarks instead unleashed a storm of criticism and even the Amnesty international harshly criticized her speech.
