In Germany, Bayern Munich have returned to the top of the Bundesliga table after defeating hosts Schalke 3-nil.
The Bavarians were awarded a penalty in the 25th minute after a Naldo handball inside the box. Robert Lewandowski stepped up and scored his 6th league goal this season.
Colombia’s James Rodriguez added Bayern’s second in the 25th minute on a fine Tolisso pass.
Arturo Vidal then sealed the deal for the Bavarians in the 75th minute and wrapped up the 3-nil win.
