US obstructionism to blame if Syria talks fail to come to fruition: Analyst

The US objective of replacing independent governments with puppet regimes is to blame for any possible failure of talks on the Syrian crisis, says a Chicago-based political analyst.

In an interview with Press TV on Thursday, Stephen Lendman pointed to the tremendous victories made in Syria against foreign-backed terrorists, but warned that if the gains do not come to fruition that is due to the US foreign policy aimed at launching wars and toppling governments.
