Also on Wednesday,  Iran team earned their second win at the 2017 World Grand Champions Cup after coming back from 2 sets down to defeat the USA 3-2.

The Iranians, who had produced a strong performance on Tuesday to overcome Italy 3-2, were far from their best at the beginning of the Wednesday match as they lost the first 2 sets 25-20 and 25-17.

But, they stole the show later with a stunning come back to outclass their rivals 27-25 and 25-21 to level the match at 2 sets apiece and send it to a decider where the Asian Giants stood firm and snatched the 5th set 15-12 to mark one of the most memorable wins in the history of the FIVB for the Iranians.
