Venezuela unveils plan to ditch dollar in trade
Venezuela has announced that it is considering a plan to ditch the dollar in favor of other currencies. President Nicolas Maduro says his country would soon sell its oil, natural gas and gold using the Russian ruble, China’s yuan, Japan’s yen, India’s rupee and the euro. Maduro has emphasized that the move would be in response to new US sanctions against Venezuela.
