Huge rallies across France against labor code austerity

Massive protests and strikes have been held across France in the first major sign of discontent since President Emmanuel Macron took power. The protests, called by France’s biggest trade union, were against Macron’s austerity-inspired overhaul of labor laws.

Our correspondent, Ramin Mazaheri, was among the demonstrators in the capital Paris and filed this report.
