Israel’s recent attack on Syrian soil meant to help terrorists
Israel seems to be alarmed by the Syrian army’s considerable gains over the past months. The latest attack on the Syrian army positions came just days after government forces managed to break a three-year-long siege by the Daesh terrorist group on the strategic city of Dayr al-Zawr. Israel is a sworn enemy of the Syrian government and has pushed for its ouster. The latest attacks come as the Syrian army and its allied forces have made major advances against terrorist groups nationwide.

Amnesty blasts Bahrain for opposition crackdown
The Amnesty International has criticized Bahrain for crushing dissent and violently cracking down on protests in the past year. The leading rights organization also says Bahrain has retreated from promised reforms and has instead dramatically escalated its crackdown on opponents. Amnesty International has also ripped the US and Britain over the silence on the human rights situation in Bahrain. Amnesty says Washington and London are turning a blind eye to rights abuses by the Bahraini regime.
