England have thrashed Malta 4-nil to stay in control of their qualifying group for the 2018 World Cup.
Malta resisted well during the first-half as it finished goalless. Harry Kane then opened the scoring in the 53rd minute with a calm close-range finish from Dele Alli's pass.

The game went into its final 5 regulation minutes, where the Brit began to score more goals. Ryan Bertrand secured the victory with a long-range shot in the closing minutes.

The Three Lions added two more in injury time, with Danny Welbeck steering in Kane's pass before the striker added his second with virtually the final kick of the game. England are now 2 points ahead of Slovakia as they prepare to meet at Wembley Stadium on Monday.
