‘Friedman mindset dominated by settler perspective’: Commentator

United States Ambassador to Israel David Friedman’s comments about the “alleged” Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories is yet another astonishing example of the “ineptitude” of President Donald Trump administration’s policy toward the Palestinians, says a political commentator.

“Everyone knew that Freidman was a supporter of settlers … so this was not new, but using the phrase alleged occupation is really settlers’ speak, it shows his entire mindset is completely embraced by a settler perspective, that he does not accept the Israeli conquest of the West Bank and Gaza in 1967 was an occupation,” Richard Silverstein told Press TV in an interview on Saturday.
