Iran’s national football team have hit the training ground ahead of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against hosts South Korea.

Iran, who have already booked their spot in next year's finals in Russia, will lock horns with the Koreans at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Thursday.

Team-Melli has won all of its last 4 matches against the Koreans. This means that the Taeguk Warriors have to be at their best as this will be a crucial match for Shin Taeyong’s men.

Failure to overcome their fierce rivals in front of some 60,000 fans in Seoul could potentially lead to his side missing a World Cup finals for the first time since 1982. Iran will be without veteran midfielder and captain Masoud Shojaei for the upcoming match.
