Many patients in Gaza have been denied the chance to leave the territory for medical treatment amid Israel’s years-long crippling siege. The blockade has pushed the region’s health sector on the brink of total collapse with many essential medicines and other medical supplies missing from the shelves in hospitals and drugstores alike.
