Federer cruises to Rogers Cup semifinals

World No. 3 Roger Federer has reached the Rogers Cup semifinals following a straight sets victory over Roberto Bautista Agut in Montreal.

Federer, was never seriously pushed by the Spaniard as the Swiss maestro secured the first break in the 9th game of the opening set.

The 36-year-old began the second set with a break and cruised through the rest of the match, which lasted just over an hour, to book a last-four clash with Dutchman Robin Haase.
