Tehran eatery serves meals by robots

One restaurant in the Iranian capital Tehran has turned hi-tech, with the eatery using robots to serve meals. 
The owner of ‘Robo-Chef’ restaurant says his goal is to get people more familiar with modern technology, not just to watch it on television.

The founder says he is surprised by the response as people wait for hours outside until they come in and use our equipment.

The restaurant features multi-touch smart tables that allow customers to choose their dishes down to the smallest detail. The food is then served by robots, directly to each customer's table.
