Los Angeles has struck a deal with the International Olympic Committee to host the 2028 Olympics.

The deal will also allow the French capital Paris to host the 2024 Olympic Games. It will be the 3rd Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The city also hosted the event in 1932 and 1984. The agreement would still need to be ratified by the IOC at its upcoming meeting on September 13.
