Debate: Venezuela’s election impacts

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro thanks “the brave people of Venezuela” for voting in an election for a new Constituent Assembly. The U.S. slams the vote as “sham” pledging not to recognize the results of the vote.

In this episode of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Michael Lane, the founder of the American Institute for Foreign Policy in Washington, and Jason Unruhe, a political commentator and analyst from Toronto, to discuss the results of the Venezuelan Constitutional Assembly election and its impacts on the country's politics.
