Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich have registered a 3-2 victory Over Premier League giants Chelsea in the International Champions Cup in Singapore.
The Bavarians started the match with full force on Tuesday and raced to a commanding 3-nil lead. Just 6 minutes into the match, Rafinya scored for the Germans with a long-range effort.
Thomas Mueller then doubled Bayern’s lead in the 12th minute by scoring from close range to make it 2-nil. The Bayern captain then scored his second with a brilliant curling strike some 15 minutes later.
Chelsea, however, managed to scramble a goal in the first-half’s stoppage time through Marcos Alonso who blasted a powerful low shot past the keeper to make it 3-1.
Michy Batshuayi then reduced the London Blues’ deficit to 1 goal after the break by tapping in Sesk Fabregas's corner. But, Chelsea failed to find the equalizer in the thrilling encounter as Carlo Ancelotti picked up a 3-2 win over his former side.
