Turkey harshens stance on rights activists

Turkey is stiffening its stance on human rights activists. A Turkish court has ordered Amnesty International’s Turkey director Idil Eser and five other human rights activists to remain in custody. The six individuals are accused of aiding terrorist groups, a charge Amnesty has called travesty of justice.
