Man City to break world’s record buy signing Walker from Spurs

Manchester City are set to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker.

Manchester City are set to sign Kyle Walker from Tottenham Hotspur, making him the world’s most expensive defender, and the costliest English player of all time.

The Sky Blues have reportedly agreed to pay Spurs, an initial 45 million pounds, plus 5 million in payments across 12 months, with another 4 million, depending on Performances. The 27-year-old will Undergo a Medical at Manchester City on Friday, before completing his deal.

Manager Pep Guardiola has been badly in need of a right-back, as they have been left without any reliable players at that position after having released Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sanya earlier this summer.
