Aegon Championships: Tsonga beats Mannarino in straight sets

France's Adrian Mannarino returns against France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in their men's singles 1st round match at the ATP Aegon Championships tennis tournament at Queen's Club in west London on June 19, 2017.

France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has registered a straight sets victory over his fellow countryman Adrian Mannarino, in the opening-round of Aegon Championships.

Songa, who returned to the top 10 in the ATP rankings this week, began his grass court campaign in style on Monday, as the 5th seed comfortably took the opening set 6-2, before winning the 2nd with the same score at the Queen's Club in London.

Songa took the victory in 66 minutes, converting 5 of his 13 break points to avenge the defeat he suffered to Mannarino back in Monte Carlo a few weeks ago.
