Scott Bennett, a former US army psychological warfare officer, describes Iran’s missile attack on the Daesh headquarters in the Syrian city of Dayr al-Zawr as a “brilliant” and “intelligent” move, saying that it should be followed up with “appropriate diplomatic measures.”

“So the Iranians need to appear at the United Nations and make a public statement to say the great nation of Iran will never bow to terrorism, it will never surrender to Wahhabi Takfiri mercenaries that are being sent up to destabilize places like Libya and Syria and Iran will not allow its people to suffer the same consequences that the Libyans and the Syrians have suffered,” Bennett told Press TV in an interview on Monday.
