Trump’s ‘repugnant’ reaction to Iran terror attacks

US President Donald Trump

The Iranian capital, Tehran, is reeling from two terrorist attacks that targeted the Iranian Parliament and the Mausoleum of late Imam Khomeini and left at least 17 people dead and scores more injured.

World leaders were quick to condemn the attacks, expressing their deepest condolences to Iranian officials and Iranians people. But US president Donald Trump was an exception.

Trump accused Iran of sponsoring terrorism, claiming that the Tehran attacks were the fruits of Iran’s policies.

Tehran blasted Trump’s reaction, with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif describing the comments as repugnant and saying Iranian people would reject claims of US friendship.

The US president came under fire for the remarks even at home.

But how have world media reacted to Trump’s reaction to Iran terror attack?
