CES Asia 2017 kicks off in Shanghai
Over 50 companies have showcased their latest robotic creations at the CES Asia electronic show in Shanghai.
Challenged by the current limitations of personal robots, the exhibitors have presented smart ways to bring useful droids into homes.
The displayed robots mainly serve as companions at home and attendants at shopping malls, with some designed to provide entertainment. Many of them are designed for children and the elderly.
The popularity of droids at CES Asia suggests that robots seem to be finally ready to play a bigger role in human lives. Experts hope that robots can be more intelligent and can be able to deliver normal communications with humans.
