Stephen Lendman, an author and journalist, believes US allegations about Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election is a “hoax”, adding that there should be an investigation into President Donald Trump and his team’s ties with Israel not Russia.

“There was no Russian meddling in the US election, there is nothing about improper, criminal Team Trump connections with Russia. The whole thing is about bashing Russia, delegitimizing and weakening Trump,” Lendman told Press TV in an interview on Friday.
