Spectacular election in Iran

Iran's President Hassan Rouhani gives his first live televised speech on May 20, 2017, a day after his election victory and winning a second term in office through presidential polls.

It was a spectacular presidential election in Iran. Over 41 million people, or over 70% of eligible voters, went to the polls to choose their next president.

And finally after a hard-fought campaign Hassan Rouhani was reelected with over 23 million votes. Here is the reaction of regional and global media outlets to the recent polls in Iran.
