Welcome with open 'arms'

Donald Trump, President of the United States of America is to show the world his true colors by visiting Saudi Arabia to meet the imposed royal family, and host of leaders from the Persian Gulf Arab states. It is ironic that the US President would snub his neighboring countries to visit a state that practically runs world terrorism, but Trump will be greeted with the red carpet treatment, and the trip will be a welcome distraction to Trump in the current climate, and one that the Saudi’s will embrace. But Trump, as we all know is a seasoned businessman, and it with a catalogue of goods that Trump arrives in the Saudi Kingdom, where the despotic regime will be waiting with open checkbooks to purchase military equipment, no doubt to continue pounding their Southern neighbors in Yemen.

Arab countries selling out Palestine

Persian Gulf Arab states, mostly close US allies have been distancing themselves from the Palestinian cause and covertly warming up to Israel. The proposal was first revealed by Wall Street Journal based on a document that was prepared during talks among the Arab states. The Arab states have offered to take concrete steps including:

•    Direct telecommunication lines with Israel

•    Allowing Israeli planes to fly over Arab states

•    Scraping trade limitations with Israel

•    Granting visas to Israelis
