Saudi Arabia bombing its own citizens?

Reports have emerged in media that show the situation is tense in Saudi Arabia’s Shia dominated province of Qatif. Agencies say Saudi government forces are shelling and bulldozing houses in Qatif’s Awamiyah town for several days now. A curfew is now in place in the same town which saw anger build up earlier after a two-year-old child and a young man were killed in an operation last week. Questions are now emerging in global media about what could justify the current crackdown that Saudi special forces are pushing ahead against citizens in Qatif.

An Israeli announcement of a "hit"

Israel has allowed one of their ministers, the former minister of military affairs General Yoav Galant to release an extremely provocative statement, which if executed, will spark a catalyst of conflict in the Middle East and Syria. The retired General, and former leader of the Southern Command, has stated that the time has come to deal with President Bashar Al-Assad, and that he further quoted “In my view, we are crossing a red line. And in my view, the time has come to assassinate Assad. It’s as simple as that”.
