The Cleveland Cavaliers have defeated the Boston Celtics 117 to 104 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals at TD Garden in Boston.
The Cavaliers were the better side of the match which led to their 30-19 victory in the opener. The visitors took their dominance in the second quarter and went to the locker rooms at the intermission with a 61-39 lead.
The Celtics came from behind and won the third and final quarters but it didn’t affect the Cavaliers 13 points victory in Game 1 of the best of 7 game series. LeBron James scored 38 points for the Cavaliers. Game 2 will be held in Boston on Friday.
