US permanent wars

US President Donald Trump is facing a major test as he will soon have to decide about America’s future course in Middle East wars. During his presidential campaign, Trump was highly critical of previous administrations for their wars thousands of miles from home. Trump pledged to “put America first” instead of spending on lengthy wars.



The EU army

Europe is thinking about its own army:  The European Union's joint Military Planning and Conduct Capability is set to open soon. It’s mission? Increasing security and defense cooperation among EU member states. The center is set to function under the political control and strategic guidance of the Political and Security Committee.
